Orville T. Bailey, aged 89, died September 21, 1998, in St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago. Dr. Bailey, who received his M.D. from Syracuse University, was one of the founders of the field of neuropathology. A member of the Society of Fellows at Harvard University, he also taught at the Medical School. Later he was on the faculty at Indiana University, University of Illinois, and Rush Medical College. An active member of the Club from 1961, Dr. Bailey served as Vice President (Officers and Members, 1970-71 and 1971-72) and as President (1975-76). He presented nine papers (two at Ladies Night), of which two were published.
