Peter Edge, aged 89, died August, 2002, in Winnetka, Illinois. Born in New York City, Mr. Edge graduated cum laude from Harvard University and from Harvard taw School. During W orId War II as a Lieutenant JG in the Coast Guard he served as a navigator on the U.S.S. Spencer. He practiced law in Chicago and was a retired partner of the ArnsteinLehr law firm. Mr. Edge was a founding/life member of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Pennsylvania, established by his mother in 1934. A board member for over 50 years, he had served as president of the Sanctuary. A member of the Club since 1972, Mr. Edge was President in 1982-83 and presented ten papers, one of which was published.
